Salad – Bowl of sprouts

Another episode of my salad series πŸ˜‰ A bowl of health !!!

Sprouts are full of health and benefits and there are innumerable ways that sprouts can be used in salads. I have seen people steaming the sprouts before incorporating in salads, I have never done it because i love the ‘crunch’ of the sprouts πŸ™‚

Here’s what i did………..

INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp – sprouts (any variety)

1 tsp – chopped onion

1 tsp – black olives

1 tbsp – chopped tomato

1 tbsp – chopped cucumber

1 1/2 tsp – chopped carrots

1 tsp – lime juice

salt to taste

pinch of black pepper powder

METHOD

Toss all ingredients together. Sprinkle salt and black pepper powder. Add the lime juice. Mix well.

Garnish with a wedge of lime.

Serve chilled.

    Salad has multiple skin benefits. One of the many is it helps hold in moisture, it also helps with eye puffiness.
