Musings – Thoughts of a cluttered mind

      कभी किसी को मुकम्मल जहाँ नहीं मिलता
      कहीं ज़मीं तो कहीं आसमां नहीं मिलता

(Nobody gets completely every thing they want or desire, you may either get the sky or the earth)

Does one have an over -crowded mind ?? I do.

Does one understand life ?? I don’t.

My dad used to say,’ You rarely will get what you want, but you will get all that you need.’ I agree.

I am a passionate woman with a great respect for humanity. I do not do calculations, I do relationships. Being educated does give a cut above to understand and analyze the complexities of a relationship.

Life and our human relationships are conjoined twins. I have never understood ‘what is walking away from a relationship’ ………How is it done ?? To me, one never walks away, we stop spending time together. Well, i try to analyze things simple.

Get an upper hand in your relationships. What does this mean ?? I put my hand on top of his ?? 😉 Or should i go up on the landing and wave out from there?? 😉 Arrrgh……….my grey cells my collapse !!! I surely do not believe in upper hands and lower hands, it is more about spacing. Because when we space out, we create room to think !! Relationships work on ‘spacings’.

I value people, person, their ideas and respect. I am a wisdom seeker.

I have hardly got what i wanted in life, but i am not unhappy. Is this what dad meant ?? May be.

Everything happens for a reason. Does it ?? I believe blessings come with a price tag !!

In words of Swami Vivekananda -  The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves!

As i said ......i do not calculate, i do relationships !!

  1. Loved reading it Andy :). I resonate with you. One thing if I may add my opinion : Most of the time, education has nothing to do with wisdom….but living close to life in no frivolous manner makes a person wise. A double Ph.D professor might be educated but may not be wise where as an elementary educated farmer may be much wiser. :).
Keep writing ! Would love to read more!

Whenever I compiled when young, my mum would say that :).
