Durga Puja, a festival all Bengalis around the world wait for 🙂 From showing off new dresses (especially sarees), to feasting and gorging on traditional food to street food, pandal hopping, catching up with friends and relatives……..in other words, Pure unadulterated FUN !!!! 😀

Durga here is featured with her four children – Kartikey, Saraswati, Lakshmi and Ganesha.
It is a 10 day festival, but actual celebration starts from 5th or 6th day onwards.
Huge, magnificent and towering pandals are created and decorated for Maa Durga and her family !!
It not just about clothes, foods, friends etc…….it is about heritage !! ❤
What we Bengalis call Durga Puja, rest of India calls it Navratras. Evry region, state has a unique way of celebrating this festival, be it food, clothes, community dances called garbas or dandiyas etc.
Heralding this festival excitement with an event on Facebook, hosted by ACBistro and co -hosted by Sonal Gupta and Shailja . It is an open event from 25th September to 4th October. Feel free to join in in this visual, traditional culinary and pandal hopping journey of the Durga Puja and Navratras!!!
