The author has gradually developed each character in the book. While reading this gripping book about woman, family relationships, betrayals one cannot say it is the debut work of the author.

One is able to relate to the protagonist, her struggles, despair, anger and anguish over her identity crisis, social stigma of rejection betrayed by her mother and her her long and tiring legal battle to affirm her place in her own family.
