Daughter by Court order

A family can develop only with a loving woman as its center

– Karl Wilhelm Friedrich Schlegel

daughter by court order

The book –

Daughter by Court order, the protagonist is a girl /woman, Aranya, fighting for her rightful place in the family. A very thought provoking read. The author has gradually developed each character in the book. While reading this gripping book about woman, family relationships, betrayals one cannot say it is the debut work of the author.

One is able to relate to the protagonist, her struggles, despair, anger and anguish over her identity crisis, social stigma of rejection betrayed by her mother and her her long and tiring legal battle to affirm her place in her own family.

The story’s lucid style of writing will make you curl up your toes and eyes moist at several instances.

The author –

Ratna Vira has left a mark with her best selling debut novel. She comes from a family of journalists and writers. She was the executive vice -president of the Yes Bank and is currently busy penning her second novel.
