Image Makeover #1

I do not consider myself even an amateur in photography. But over the past year I have learnt a few tricks by watching, following, questioning others who I consider to be expert.

Hence, I have learnt to experiment, with not only the camera but also a few editing tools. And I have come to a conclusion, not only it is important to click well but more important is how an image is edited.

Sharing a few tips I learnt along the way with a sample image makeover for novices like me.

The image was cropped before editing. To edit, I have used –

* Lightroom 5

* Exposure :  +0.10

* Contrast :  +25

* Shadows :  -17

* Whites : +10

* Blacks :  -60

I love to play around with image editing. It is like an infant learning to walk, touch, taste and explore.
